This is the famous Maeklong Railway Market. All the stalls and stuffs are placed just by the railway tracks.

That's the railway tracks right in the middle of the narrow market place.
|
Lotsa fresh seafood here as the river is just around the corner.
|
Spicy stuffs anyone?

Assorted dried shrimps.
|
Flower garlands for prayers.
|
Look at all the fruits placed just beside the railway tracks.
|
The train is coming through! The stall owners have already moved up the makeshift stall canopies. Everyone needs to get out of the tracks.
|
All set and ready, waiting for the train to pass through.
|
Here comes the train! It runs through the market 8 times a day.
|
They're so efficient in arranging the goods nicely beneath just enough for the train to pass without damaging the goods. The train just passed right in front of me with only a gap of about a meter from where I stood.
|
No squashed up fruits or vegetables!
|
There goes the train, the market resumes business as the stall canopies come down again...
